The Life and Times of Plod

look’s like l30n has set up a blog, but will he use it?

Weeeeeeeeeeeeee, it just doesn’t stop, things are awesome in this job. I am right happy, I am happy with the way I am treated, I am happy with the workloads, I am happy with the job itself. However in true plod sense, now I’ve got a big project to finish, and time is quickly running out, and as time runs out, what happens stress kicks in, in double time.

That stress, fuelled with tiredness, is not helping me while I work late at 19:30 on the most awesome project I’ve put my name too this side of ‘nam.

I’ve been getting on the old bandwagon recently of getting an apple iBook, i’ve said about it i think a few times here, but now its becomming a serious thought. The question is, how do i know I’ll really get on with it, everything I’m reading screams i will. What I’d really like to do is test drive one for a week, but can’t seem to find anyone on the net which offers this service. A few people have told me to go to the apple store and play with one there, but is this going to be enough time before making a rash decision.

In other news, yer work life is hectic as per normal, been interviewing for positions this week which has been an eyeopener i can tell you. The monster project is taking progress, but hey weather it completes or not is down to my stress levels.

When I’m feeling down, or having trouble sleeping, sometimes I just find myself day dreaming about a lottery win. I don’t just mean w00 wouldn’t it be great winning the lottery, I mean sitting down going through an itinary of things I’d buy, debts I’d pay off, and in what order. Weather I’d tell anybody, and in not doing so, how to get gifts for people. Surely this can’t be helpfull, if I am wasting brain process on fantasy, but I don’t know, sometimes it gives me quite the upgrade to get the fuck on with things.
