The Life and Times of Plod

Woah it’s been fun, well I decided to take the jump and fuck about with AJAX. After pete showed me what he’d been up to here, and then told me about this post on the php mailing list I decided to have a sample, basically I’ve been wanting to use ajax to load up parts of a page on a timer, dynamic content. So in order to get my head round it I made this bit of code through varios fuck abouts, the ajax calls to this php script. Now i know theres some bugs, but this is cause of the organic way i put it together, but I get the drift .

In other news my birthday came and went, I was hammered, thanks to some friend(s), i managed to not catch up with all, I’m sorry if I missed ya, have a nice christmas etc.

Anyways Back to work xxx

That’s right, magic as it may sound 26 years ago today, i popped into the world, for all of thatchers glory. 5 Years ago we were in the thick of a petrol crisis, just in time for my 21^st and here we are again five years later, with simular potential!

Anyways, as for what I’m doing, not much this year I am feeling mildly cynical about getting old.

Adrian sent me a little message i thought i’d share with you here.

I know it’s getting like a stuck record for some, but I realised I hadn’t blogged about my sucess. Last week (sept 1st) i passed my zend certification exam, and to the best of my knowledge I am the first in wales (correct me if i’m wrong).
