Training Playlist
Hello Dear readers, you may or may not have realised I have started to exercise and get healthy like a supergerbil, I am after some playlists for my new shiney 8gig ipod nano. I am after some playlists here in the comments. The structure should be as follows:
- Tracks should get the adrenaline pumping
- There should be 10 tracks
- Tracks should be as close as 3 minutes as humanly possible
- No two tracks in a playlist unless absolutely necessary
- As much variety as possible in a playlist.
I will try and use a playlist in each of my training sessions in the coming weeks and put the results here. Adrian thought I should offer a prize for this so I’ll just quote exactly what he said:
[16:51] <@a17drian> ooo ‘make this gerbil burn!’ - Give me play listens and who gives me the best burn will win a jam jar full of my own personal sweat which was produced from all my trainning when listening to your heart kicker
So yeah, i’ll honour that

personally, the tracklist, tempo, genre, etc, doesn’t matter - i could probably sing opera whilst lifting weights or exercising if i put my mind to it. i just tend to separate my mind from what i’m doing - i think that’s why people recommend exercise as a way to alleviate stress, anxiety, depression, etc.
however, i know some people swear by uptempo stuff like trance or hiphop or thrash.
prolly his only good song since the 80s.

All you need is a bit of
Wham - Club tropicana
Tiffany - Think we’re alone now
Kim Wilde - kids in America
TPAU - China In Your Hands
New Order - Blue Monday
Belinda Carlisle - Place on Earth
Lionel Richie - Dancing on the Ceiling
Put this bad boy on repeat and you are away.

The perfect tune to run like your life depends on it would be the tune from 28 days/weeks later. Imagine those red eyed monsters chasing you! salivating over the thirst for your blood, legs pounding the floor, tasting your blood from the fear and the sweat you leave in your wake, to consciously know that you could be the demise of the human race if you are caught, fed on, and as a result (dramatic pause) infected!
Or if you want a more realistic scenario… imagine the wrath of AiMs when you wake me in the morning
I think a good follow on from that track would be one of my favourite songs by Queen, “Dont Stop me Now”, hold that pool cue in your hands as your running towards the finish line.
I know thats only 2 tracks but I’m working on it
